“দ্যাখো দ্যাখো কানাইয়ে” গানটি রাধা-কৃষ্ণের চিরন্তন প্রেমের এক অপরূপ প্রকাশ। গানে কানাই (কৃষ্ণ) চোখের ইশারায় এবং তার সুন্দর অঙ্গভঙ্গির মাধ্যমে রাধাকে ডাকছেন। রাধা তার সখীদের বলছেন যে তিনি আর চলতে পারছেন না, কৃষ্ণের আকর্ষণে তিনি এতটাই বিভোর। মুরলী বা বাঁশির সুরে যমুনা নদীও উথাল পাতাল হয়ে ওঠে। যামিনীতে (রাতে) রাধা গৃহ ত্যাগ করে কানুনের (বনের) দিকে ধাবিত হন। কৃষ্ণের বাঁশির সুর এবং তার ইশারায় রাধার আত্মহারা অবস্থার বর্ণনা এই গানে ফুটে উঠেছে।
